Getting Started is Easy.

The Fund for Academic Renewal is committed to helping you support academic quality and intellectual diversity at a college or university.

As a program of the American Council of Trustees and Alumni, FAR brings to bear more than two decades of higher education expertise, as well as a network of advisors and campus contacts. Our fundamental aim is to guide college donors in crafting targeted, successful gifts in keeping with their philanthropic goals.

If you have a particular college in mind, FAR may already have a College Account that channels gifts to the school of your choice, or we can create one. If you are interested in a particular topic, such as U.S. history and government, economic literacy, or freedom of expression, we may already have a Special Purpose Account supporting outstanding faculty members and programs in that area of interest. If you wish to contribute to FAR’s General Account that supports excellent initiatives across the country, or if you want to pool your gifts with those of others to maximize their impact, we are ready to partner with you.

You may have a concept for a new program in mind, and we’re here to listen.
